Having worked in the beauty industry several years ago, I have went through countless trials of foundation matching for all skin tones. Whether you are purchasing a new foundation from a drugstore, department store, or beauty supply store, these rules remain the same. Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation
Just as most of us experience, I am currently going through my occasional breakout stage right now and as much as I’d like to wish for it to disappear overnight, all I can do is continue to be faithful to ye’ old skincare regimen.
In the meantime, in between time, I need makeup to cover up my blemishes without looking to heavy on my skin. I had heard good things about the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation and after browsing Sephora and doing my own research, I decided to give it a go. I had never tried Urban Decay foundation before (although I am a big fan of the Naked palette) and love trying new brands, so didn’t think I could go wrong. After all, Urban Decay is one of the holy grail makeup brands, can we all agree with that?!
Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without
Da-da-da-dahhhhh (drum roll please….)
There are only a few things I can’t live without. Well technically…I could, but for the sake of this post, there are just some things too good to go on without. Lately, I have been trying to be more of a minimalist when it comes to makeup. Having grown older (and hopefully wiser) I have learned that the caked-on makeup face is just not all that cute anymore-if it ever really was. Typically I just layer on some foundation, powder, eyeliner, and mascara and I’m out the door. But time and time again, I tend to gravitate towards these items (pictured above), because they have never let me down and I have found them to be so useful. Some I use on a daily basis and others more sparingly. Regardless I love them all the same!
