I was so kindly asked by social media friend (and one I hope to meet IRL someday) Jasmine, to be a part of her ‘Ciao for Now’ series on her blog where she interviews re-pats on their time spent in Italy. Talking about Italy is one of my favorite topics, so of course I accepted.

I recently returned to the states 5 months ago and have been slowly acclimating myself back to living in the U, S of A- although a completely different state now, so it still feels as if I’m in a different country sometimes. Check out my full Q & A with Jasmine below on life in and after Italy.

My Winter Uniform + The Acqueducts

This past weekend we went to visit a place that has been on our list for some time now, The Acquedotto Romano. The Roman Acqueducts were originally constructed to bring water from sources back into homes and fountains many, many years ago. We originally found out about the Acqueducts when it appeared in a very popular Italian movie we watched, La Grande Bellezza.

Holidays in Roma

the Beehive Rome

One thing I can say I love about the chillier weather here in Rome is the excuse to layer. The reason why this is a big deal to me is because after living in Miami for 4 years, I haven’t been able to play around with dressing in long sleeves and jackets until now! I didn’t bring much of a wardrobe when I moved here, so it’s nice to make it look as if I have new things by pulling out my fall/winter ensemble.
