I honestly forgot that this weekend is Labor Day Weekend back in the states. I guess that’s what happens when you live in Italy…you kind of forget about the American holidays with the exception of any big ones, Christmas, New Years, etc.

This Labor Day Weekend, Jared and I, spent it pretty chill catching up on some work and getting into the latest season of Narcos (I am officially hooked!) Have any of you watched it yet? Friday night was date night over in a little part of town that we haven’t really yet explored, but the nightlife is full of bars, restaurants, and an exciting young crowd atmosphere.

There is a lot of change in the air: the summer season is almost over and fall is around the corner. Still trying to become an expert on the Italian lifestyle. The presidential election is making news all over the world, including here in Italy.  A couple of things that won’t change so much however, are my favorites, as they are items I use on the daily and I have a feeling they will be around for a while.

Spring: The Season of New Beginnings

The weather down here in South Florida has been spoiling us recently. I like to consider this time of the year to be my favorite, temperature wise, because of the warm air but cool breeze that surrounds me whenever I’m outside. So in lieu of the season, I put together a post on what this time of the year means to me as it gets closer to the longer days and shorter nights ahead aka summer.
