Today marks Jared and I’s five year dating anniversary. I remember this day 5 years ago, we were both living in Miami. Our lives, priorities, surroundings were completely different to say the least. I would say that I miss it, but I think we are in a good place right now.
Last year I wrote about some of my favorites memories of our relationship, which you can find here. This post I wanted to make more of a photo diary, with less words. I have been wanting to share these photos on my blog since last year but never got around to it, so I figured today is the day.
These first couple of photos are with an LA-based photographer, Adam Bialik. He was in Rome visiting when we decided to get together and shoot some photos.
The second set of photos we shot with New York based photographer, Katherine. This shoot had more of a casual, street style vibe to it.
It was certainly a lot of fun to have my partner on this side of the camera with me, as he is normally always behind it instead.
Five years may seem like a blink of an eye to some, and to me they have certainly went by so fast that I can barely grasp all the memories we’ve shared together. Being in a relationship with my partner in a foreign country has taught me many things. Overall, to trust and have faith in our relationship above everything else. There are still many things I want to fix about myself in order to be fair in this relationship. I have many faults, and I’m not perfect, but I’m grateful to this human for sticking by my side. It’s certainly been worth every moment.
Here’s to us! Happy anniversary Jared.
All my love,
Estrella
Oh, the photos are so beautiful! And you both look so happy in them! That is not easy to feel relaxed in front of the camera, but seems that you do. Such wonderful memories!
Congratulations and may you create more memories together!

Thank you! I can credit looking comfortable in front of the camera to the photographer. She was wanted to capture “candid” photos of us, which made it feel like we weren’t posing. Jared doesn’t normally like being photographed so I’m surprised I talked him into doing this shoot with me, haha

Wow, respect to her! Iโd love doing this but I donโt feel as good in front of the camera as 10 years ago. I used to love being in the pictures but now I find too many faults ๐ good that it turned to be such a nice experience for your both ๐
