It had been on my bucket list for some time to take a cooking class, especially while being here in Italy, I knew I couldn’t leave without having done one. While researching different places to take a cooking course, I was introduced to Bon Appetour through a friend. Bon Appetour is a food sharing experience in which you are typically welcomed into a home of a local. The host then prepares a meal for you, as if you are in a restaurant. There is another option in which you can choose a cooking course where you make the meal together! There is also wine tasting available and other unique dining options for those that want a different dining experience.
For our specific course, we made an artichoke appetizer, ravioli stuffed with ricotta and orange, and homemade ice cream for dessert-ALL FROM SCRATCH. Although it took us a few hours to finish everything, the end result was so satisfying and much more delicious when you know exactly what goes into your food.
The above video is how we made the artichoke and ravioli dish, which was super easy! I would leave the recipe down below but you can just see how we did it in the 2 minute video above. 😉 Also, make sure to subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already!
Hope you enjoyed the video and let me know if you try it in the comments below.
All my love,
Estrella

I did one of these classes a long time ago with my parents. It was one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had. After we got back to the US they immediately bought a pasta maker.

Ahh so awesome. Where did you do the class? I think it’s great that this recipe doesn’t need any special equipment..just your hands, so anyone should be able to do it!

Well you can make pasta without a pasta maker but it definitely speeds up the process 😉
We did ours in Florence.

Yes, true. I have seen people here in restaurants in Rome make spaghetti by hand and think that must take all day. It’s pretty cool to watch the process of pasta-making too.
