Little Suede Dress

DSC02105-Edit

This past year I had made up my mind I would not be a victim to the crazy holiday shopping bonanza. So much for that. I was bitten….bitten by the sneaky Cyber Monday bug. A routine email purge failed when I caught a glimpse that my all time favorite online clothing store, Lulus.com, was having an irresistible sale, one in which I was too curious not to take a peek. Why not? The holiday season was quickly approaching at the time, and I was on the lookout for a budget friendly dress that I could wear for Christmas parties or New Years Eve. I came across this suede shift dress with an adorable scalloped hem and couldn’t resist, especially since I didn’t own anything suede…up until now.

When I received it in the mail, I was in awe of how soft and “plush” the material felt. I just wanted to rub it against my face and caress it. Haha! The material is made of vegan microfiber suede shaped with a rounded neckline and classic short sleeves. I love the subtle, blush pink tone of this dress which makes it a classic piece to have in my closet.

I ordered a size x-small, although as you can see it runs a little large, which I don’t mind as I usually don’t like my dresses to be skin tight anyway. I need a little breathing room, especially since we were heading out to enjoy some good ol’ Italian food at our favorite restaurant. Mmmmmm!

While my plan to avoid the holiday shopping frenzy failed, I can’t be mad about saving 50% off this dress. I really loved the pale blue option as well but the blush pink fits better with my wardrobe. If you are interested in finding the dress it is available here: http://www.lulus.com/products/well-suede-beige-suede-shift-dress/246050.html.

What are your favorite pieces right now that you are obsessing over? Would love to hear your thoughts below.

Ciao,
Estrella
